Guardiola is interested in Arsenal’s Arteta but…

According to Daily Mirror in England, Guardiola who is about to become a new manager in Man City next season is very interested in Arteta of Arsenal, but he just wants him to join Man City’s coach team, instead of the player team. Moreover, Guardiola’s first signing for Man City is basically confirmed, and the French center backfielder Laporte has an orally agrees to join Man City.




Arteta is a 34-year-old player and his performances this season have been influenced by his injuries, which makes him fail to get mach playing time, and he will hopefully retire when the season ends, but he has made a preparation for his coach career, including getting UEFA coach certificate and helping Arsenal’s youth team train. Daily Mirror reports Guardiola appreciates Arteta’s style a lot and he will ask him if he is willing to join his coach team. Actually, they both came from Barca’s youth camp and they have been close.


The newspaper also says the first signing of Man City is basically confirmed, and Laporte who is playing for Bilbao orally agrees to join Man City. Laporte was born in 1994 and he can play many positions at the defense line. On the scout report from the Spanish media, Laporte perfectly fits for Guardiola’s style.
