On April 14, Liverpool FC played a home game in the second leg of the UEFA Europa League quarter-finals and they showed a miracle to the whole world. In the game, Liverpool had a 4-3 win over Borussia Dortmund, reaching the semifinals.
The two teams drew 1-1 in the first leg last week, meaning Liverpool advanced to the semifinals of Europe’s second-tier club competition 5-4 on aggregate. But when the match started, it seemed not good to the Premier League team, and Mkhitaryan and Aubameyang of Dortmund scored against Liverpool in the 5th minute and in the 9th minute, and Dortmund 2-0 took the lead. In the second half of the match, Origi of Liverpool turned it 1-2, but soon Reus of Dortmund made it 3-1. Under huge pressure, Liverpool began to fight back, and Coutinho scored a goal in the 66thminute and Sakho made it 3-3 by header.
As the game moved into added time, Milner of Liverpool dinked the ball over for Lovren to power a header past Weidenfeller. At last, Liverpool FC succeeded in advancing to the Europa League semifinals. It was really an astonishing match.
