With qualification all but secured to next summer’s European Championships, you would think the least of Belgium and Spain’s worries are their new threads.
Think again.
Euro 2016 kit releases have ruffled some feathers, to say the least. How much? Take Germany’s reversible kit, for instance. Or Northern Ireland’s, which has prompted fans collected 5,000 signatures in an online petition to come up with a re-design.
And now, you can add Belgium and Spain to the list of teams who’ve come up with, well, let’s just call them “unique” designs.
Belgium coach Marc Wilmots had his own beef.
“In terms of marketing, I didn’t decided anything,” he told So Foot. “They asked my opinion and I said ‘The first is super, the second is for a cyclist.’”
