Real Madrid president: Raul is legend of the legends

North American SuperLiga of this season has ended and Raul helped New York Cosmos win the title. Previously the media reported that Raul would return to Madrid and work at Real Madrid after his retirement. But Raul accepts his first interview after retirement and says Madrid is his home, though, he won’t leave America for the moment.

“I will stay in America with my family for a while and let’s see what will happen. Madrid is my home and I will go back one day, but now it’s not the time to talk about it. I need to get rest, but I will definitely continue to support Real Madrid.”

The State Derby game is coming. About this, Raul says “I hope Real Madrid to win it, for the victory of this kind of match can bring you great confidence. It doesn’t matter even if they can’t get the 3 points, because there are still six or seven months before the season ends.”

Talking about the retirement, Raul says “I was happy to hold the cup with my teammates and see the fans cheer. New York Cosmos is a great club. I wish it to keep growing and part of my heart belongs with it forever.”
