The FA have regarded Guardiola as the most ideal candidate for next head coach in the England national soccer team. Once the England national team led by Hodgson doesn’t perform well in next year’s European Football Championship, Guardiola who is coaching Bayern Munich is expected to replace Hodgson.
Guardiola’s current contract with Bayern Munich ends when this season ends and the both sides haven’t signed a new one. Therefore, it’s said that Man City and Man Utd are interested in inviting him to coach their teams. But the key is that Van Gaal’s contract expires in 2017 while Pellegrini just signed a new contract with Man City.
Though Hodgson has led England team to qualify for next year’s European Football Championship finals, the FA are in no hurry to extend his contract and they want to watch the team’s performances in next year’s European Football Championship finals. The Sun revealed that if England team acts not well, the FA won’t extend Hodgson’s contract for sure and regard Guardiola as the most ideal candidate for next head coach.
The newspaper also said if Guardiola says yes to become the England team coach, the FA will offer him an annual salary of 10 million pounds.
