Benzema performs well in last round of La Liga and scores twice in the first leg, helping Real Madrid win the game. But his news keep showing up off the pitch, and some French media lately report that France will announce Benzema is expelled from the national team, which means this Real Madrid forward will miss next year’s UEFA Euro 2016.
French legend soccer player Zidane says he hopes French Football Federation not to suspend Benzema. Zidane says “We must wait until Thursday. But to the player and France, not suspending Benzema is the best thing. We are discussing a player who is very important to our team and we just focus on the sport.”
Zidane hopes Benzema to take care of his personal issues, “I hope him to handle his personal issues. He really wants to play for France. Being great on the pitch helps him take care of other things.”
Benzema wishes to play in UEFA Euro 2016. He says “Valbuena is a great player. French team needs him and they also need me.” Benzema continues, “I am not worried, for many other things deserve your real concern in your life. European Football Championship is fantastic and I dream of playing in it as other players. I am not worried and I hope the issues can be resolved quickly, so I can play for France as soon as possible.”
